Lead Software Engineer

I lead a team of engineers at Nike building the systems that keep high-demand product launches protected from bot abuse — we're stopping billions of attempts a month across every major global market. Before this, I spent time at eBay, Magento, and CBS Interactive, mostly working on the backend infrastructure side of e-commerce and media platforms.

I'm as comfortable whiteboarding architecture with a principal engineer as I am in a sprint planning session or a roadmap review. I studied Computer Science and Business Information Systems at Oregon State, and that combination has always pushed me to think about the business problem before the technical one.
